Default traction control

whats up guys. was just wondering if there is such a thing as permanent traction control on z28's? the reason i am asking i was reading something on throttle bodys at install university, and in 1 picture illustration it said that if u have 1 accelarator cable on the side of the throttle body u have traction control. but i looked at my engine and i have just 1 cable but i also have no button letting me switch traction control on or off . thanks in advance 4 ur input guys

You probably don't have it - my car doesn't either and no switch. To see if the car originally came with it look at the RPO codes on the drivers side door - ASR/TCS cars have "NW9". I'm glad I didn't pay extra for it myself.

Yeah, this particular topic was beat to death....some people learning some things the hard way. Anyway, if you don't have the button for TCS, then you definetely do NOT have it. There is no such thing as permanant TCS. It was a $450 option when I ordered my TA, and I didn't get it.
