Default Wideband????

Ok, I have done a search and Im trying to figure out exactly what is Wideband. I know it has to do with tuning the A/F ratio but how is better than just a normal dyno tune.... Im am clueless when it comes to PCM's and tuning software....

Thanks in advance.

wideabnd isn't the actual tuning. Its what tuners sometimes use to measure your a/f ratio to see where you are at. its a gauge that gets readings from the exhaust at the header collector. They also have a narrowband, but that is just a light show and pretty much useless.

It tells you the air to fuel ratio so you can get a more accurate tune.
