If you have 11"x17" rims you can run a 315/35/17 Nitto if you cut your bumpstops off.

with a bfh and a fender roll you can get 335 to fit in the back. i think a 285 is the biggest up front.

both of those would be nittos because they tend to run small

that is a good point... I have a 95 LT1, and I tried to put 315 in the rear, and it wouldn't fit. They said I could pound the crap out of the wheel well, and it would fit, but I just didn't have the heart since the car is in perfect condition. Would 305 fit? I have 285, but I really would like bigger. I cannot afford to now that I have the other ones on there, I am just thinking for future reference.

This would thread would be better suited in the wheels and tires section, you would most likely get more response.

But I am running Nitto 315 DRs out back on my Firehawk wheels and I have done absolutely NO modifications to my fenderwells, bumpstops, or anything. I ran the same wheel/tire combo on my previous car as well with no isues. Remember that Nittos run small compared to other tires.

That would only help if your cars rear wasn't centered properly in the first place. Having one won't gain you any clearance to fit a bigger tire. It's purpose is to be able to adjust the rear left and right, which will get the rear centered under the car if it's not positioned correctly.
