Default school me on cams

well, the mustang is for sale and i will have an LS1 in my possession soon. i plan to add nitrous, LT's and a cam. can someone direct me to the right cam?
i've been looking at the hot cam kit. but also looked at the different custom grinds from thunder. i'm looking for something with a noticeable sound but remain very streetable. also, why does the hot cam kit come with "single" or "dual" valve springs. is dual necessary? what is the advantage of them?
also, will the hot cam require rear end gear change?

spend some time lurking on the internal engine part of this board...for most people looking for a starter cam it is the tr 224. I may go with the t3 but my t/a is not a daily driver.

I'd take a look at some of the cams Texas speed and performance (TSP) has to offer. And definitly would think about getting some new pushrods and springs, and maybe retainers
