Crank Sensor Problem

I have a 2001 z28. It keeps throwing a Crank Sensor Code, not allowing the car to crank. Already changed the crank sensor but it still wont crank. PLEASE HELP!

You will probably have to have a crank angle relearn done. I read in a Hayne's manual that any time the crank sensor is disturbed that might have to be done.

Agree, look the code/diagnostics up at gearchatter.com thinking it should still turn over though???

I had a problem with a Crank sensor code, look on the passenger side near the header and see if any wires are rubbing against them, I had NON-ceramic coated headers at the time due to that a guy offered me them for virtually nothing. But wires were rubbing it would cause the car to buck........

To solve the problem I got my headers heat coated and wrapped the wiring harness in this heat protectant tape.

A long shot probally, might not be what I was experiencing, but it knocks on thing of your list that it could be. Hope I could help. Good luck !

Yeah, I changed the crank sensor and it is doing the same thing but for some reason it isnt getting any fire and it is still giving the crank sensor code.
