after just reading one of the below threads on getting a catback system, i came up with another question: do the different manufacturers in longtubes make different sounds? i was originally goin to go with the hooker LT's, but lately have been gettin stressed out because i also really love the kooks...but, from the sounds off the ls1sounds.com site, i cant find clips where 2 exhaust systems are the exact same - just comparing hooker LT's and kooks LT's.

Brand "A" LT headers vs Brand "B" LT headers, won't make much difference in sound. The difference will be more in the Y-pipe (or X-pipe) design (size, shape, cats or no cats, etc), and the catback system and/or muffler(s).
