Default Accessory wire?

Ok, this will probably sound like a stupid question to most, but I'm just not good at electronics.

Where is the car's accessory wire? (1998 Camaro Z28 5.7l) You know, the wire I can hook something up to so it comes on when I start the car. I don't wanna hook this thing to the wrong wire and fry something.

What are you trying to hook up? The solid brown wire on the ASR makes a good 12 volt accessory wire.

Trying to hook up an air/fuel gauge.

And while I'm at it, which wire on the O2 sensor do I hook the sensor input on the gauge to - and which O2 sensor is the best one to hook it to? I've heard the post-cat one won't pick up any readings.
