2004 GTO's have the same cam as your 2001 SS, they have LS1's not LS6's.....The LS6 was only used on the Caddy CTS-V's and the 01-04 Z06 Vettes....

2001 LS6 cam
207/217 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.525" / 0.525" int/exh lift
116 LSA 2002+ LS6 cam
204/218 int/exh @ 0.05" duration
0.551" / 0.547" int/exh lift
117 LSA

Hope this helps, 2001 and 2002 Ls6 cams are different.

unless you are planning on this exact cam for a certain build, i would get something else. the power increase of that cam over what you have now is minumal and in my opinion is not worth the hassel of the cam swap. if your looking for good streetability with stock like idle, get something like the TR 224 on a 114 lsa. that cam has been proven time and time again. honestly, i think you will regret not going bigger. and yes, there is no difference between your cam and the ls1 GTO cam. that guy probably just wants to sell his cam quick to someone who dont really know better. or maybe he dont know better himself.

No they don't.The 04 GTO cam is similar to the 01 Z06 cam. Just like the cam in every 01-02 F-Body is different than the 98-00. Anyways like stated above just go aftermarket. The gains from that cam swap aren't worth it.
