I tried so hard not to break the oil pressure sending unit.....and broke it anyway. Not a bad idea to have a new one on hand in case. The brake booster hose goes to the back of the intake....the oil sender unit is below/in front of that and from what I understand what usually snags and breaks the sender. I'd try to pull that hose out of the brake booster and then rotate it up and out of the way if possible. Take your time and you should be okay. It's a snap once you get it out. Good luck and enjoy the new power!!

also if my ls6 intake has the ridges ground off, do i need to change any of the coolant lines, and do i need to use the plugs for the rear coolant lines, or do i keep all the lines under the intake?

It could be diff in your area, but since i work at a shop, i get the net price discount.
net= $28.63
list= $40.90
I felt it higher in the powerband, but I wasn't that impressed w/ the difference. Not that noticeable to me. Headers seemed better. Every bit helps though
remember, put the last 4 intake bolts on the back of the intake in before you put the intake under the cowl, otherwise, you won't get them in after......
Glad I could help. If you need any more help, let me know. I gotta go get some sleep or i will be dead at work tomorrow..

just make sure that u use ur stock bolts cause the ones u will get with the manifold are never as good and quite a bit weaker
i make that mistake and broke one in half but if u do break one and it is inthe hole just go to a a home depot or a lows and get something called like a reverse screw i think
