what should be my new mod?

i bought my 2001 z28 8 months ago i had a lt1 for 5 years bofore this one so i now alot about these cars already, my ls1 came with the stripper version package to save weight and on top of that the last owner had a added bigger fuel pump, sub frame connectors, torque arm, slp box and k&n filter and 100 shot of nos. and the car came with only 36xxx miles on it i took the car to the track it ran a best of 13.1 at 108 with out the nos, bottle was empty that day, what i wanna do is get a little more out of the car with out the nos and i wanted to ask you guys what helped you get a bit more power with out doing anything drastic to the car i was thinking a hypertech or something like that.

heres a link to the time it ran at the track

LT Headers

I like headers and catback, exhaust seems to be the place to start in the mod progression list.

Ericbigmac83 11-09-2007 12:43 PM

how much money are you looking to spend? headers would be a good choice as would a torque converter and a catback assuming you still have stock exhaust

it does have catback forgot to put that in there. im gonna have 2 grand to spend once my brother buys my old car
