chavez885 11-21-2007 02:50 PM

If you have the adjustable Borla, isn't it basically a cutout already when using the wide open plate?Or actually no plate?

Maybe there would be a difference between the closed borla and an open cutout?

myfirstgm 11-21-2007 03:40 PM

i dont think i have the adjustable one

Get yourself a baseline run with it closed, and try to duplicate that run with the cutout open and see if you pick up any ET or mph.

:D..

What did you end up running? I bet you would have a better 60ft with it closed but a lower trap speed, but in the end I bet having it open would give you better results. I always just run mine open. Just experiment with it.

probably run the same time if not alitle more slower just more noise with the cutout open

That's what I'd do for my own little bit of knowledge

Maybe 1-2... 3-4 seems a bit excessive

forget cut-outs jus get a 3in ORX they flow and u still keep back pressure so u dont lose torque

myfirstgm 11-27-2007 06:52 PM

haven't ran the car yet, track was closed last week.might go tomorrow i'll let ya'll know the results.before exhaust car did 13.6 @104 spinning the tires in second.hopefully i can learn how to launch the car for better 60ft times.

ms4z28 11-27-2007 07:02 PM

best u can look at on street tire is a 2.1 60 ft

SmaknaSS 11-27-2007 07:10 PM

I also say run a few passes with them closed and then a few open to see just how much you gain.
you will be faster with them open. :burn:
