zo6 tranny

Hey Im new to ls1 type engines and I heard on another forum that you can use a ls1 tranny on a ls6? The reason I ask is because I have a ls6 and I need a tranny.....want to put it in my sc300, Thanks.

they are both tremec t-56 tannys so u dont have to worry about it

The z06 has an M12 transmission. Not the same, someone correct me if i'm wrong.

im pretty sure the MN12 differentiates the trannys by gearing. the ls6 block should have the exact same bolt patterns as the ls1 and a ls1 t56 should bolt up to it.
