What type of intake is on a stock from the factory 00 Trans am? I have heard either its the ls6 intake or just the ls1. How can you tell? How do you know?

LS1 intake came on the 2000 models. Gotta run...search for how to determine
the difference.

98-00 came with the LS1 intake. 01 & 02 had the LS6

I have heard of some of the late 2000 models getting an ls6 intake.....don't know how many though

i haven't heard any 00 models getting ls6's but hell i guess it could happen...you can check part #'s or you can simply look at the top front portion of the intake and see if there is a big tube coming from there and connecting to an assembly on your passenger side head. that is your egr...(that isn't to say that it was upgraded with slp's version with provisions...)
