Default If I wanted to buy a new "#6 boot"

It's referenced on LS1Howto.com, unfortunately google and ls1tech search won't let me include a # symbol in my search *even with quotes* anyone know where i can find the part number or a place to order it?

This is the infamous "#6 Boot". Some people say to cut it, others don't. I say, DONT. You'll be happier if you don't due to a quieter ride.

I don't have one, I can't find it on gmpartsdirect either. Their catalog is lacking.

Call a dealer and see if they'll give you the PN over the phone.

10267518, thats what you need. Now you'll go to GMpartsdirect and see that the discription doesn't sound right, I'll be busy scanning and printing the parts list, and two returns I made for the wrong boots that have the same description. 10271369 is not it, 10267519 is not it. Hope I'm not wasting my time here.

Just to be sure, you can double check me.
Pics are of the boots, I circled what I wanted. What I got was a top boot, but that was already installed on the console top, I got a 5 speed boot and a six speed boot. So you can see the two numbers I returned, the one I kept is the six speed boot. FWIW I never seen boot 6 (as numbered on the pic).
