Default Stock Piping for tips

does anyone know what size the stock piping is on a 99 t/a

I thought it was 2.5" but im not sure.

like the i pipe? i know the stock i pipe is 2.75 and i believe the factory y is 2.5

Tail pipes are 2.25" on a base Trans Am.

I-pipe is 2.75" on all LS1 models.

im going to buy slp tips and they say that the inlets are 2.5 will they fit?

A 2.5" inlet tip will not fit on a stock 2.25" tail pipe without some welding, or expanding of the tail pipe outlet.

im ordering the loudmouth muffler and found someone with slp dual/dual tips so will a muffler shop be able to fit those onto my stock exhaust
