Default What Parts for header Install????

Just wondering what I will need for a LT haeder and y-pipe install? Bolts? Gasket? o2 extensions? I have Pacesetter(off-road) Lt and Y-pipe. And since the Lt r off-road w/ no egr or air should I completely remove it all out? Any advice would be great!

Take the EGR completely off if you don't have a vehicle inspection. Engine bay looks alot better without that crap anyway. My Pacesetter headers came with bolts and gaskets and the extra wire to extend your o2 sensor connections. I used Stage 8 locking header bolts on my car but there pretty expensive.

If your doing more mods soon like ls6intake maybe or just anything that requires a tune you shold just buy o2 sims then when you get a tune you can sell the sims for close to what you payed for them. I bought my sims for that reason I wont get a tune since I have otherthings going on after the headers so when I get my car tuned I will sell my o2 sims

I bought extensions, locking bolts and GM performance gaskets for my install. No way I'd rig up the wiring with the kit that comes with it, and I don't want to have to tighten up bolts ever X months. The cardboard gaskets that ship with PS are garbage.

gm gaskets, o2 extensions, exhaust clamps, and you could if u want re use header bolts. If you have EGR think about getting an ls6 intake that way you dont have to block off the ls1 intake after you take that junk off.

Definitely do the motor mounts when you're in there, there's no reason not to.

You usually only run into clearance issues running the SLP headers, or if you take your car on some really crappy roads.
