Looking for info on how to do a harness extension so I can relocate the computer. Looking for the components , schematics or advice on how to accomplish this myself. Any help would be appreciated.

You ever do any wiring before? A soldering iron, some solder, and some shrink wrap should be all you need. I would just go one wire at a time, cut it, extend it, solder it, shrink wrap and then move on to the next one. It may be more time consuming and tedious but you won't mix any wires up.
