Default Cat question

Alright does anyone have a cutout and know how it sounds if you remove the cats? I'm thinking about doing it but I don't know what it will sound like.

Thanks

Your sig says you have a cutout so are you just asking for peoples opinions? If you run 2 cutouts without cats it will be loud, I personally love it. If I could run open headers and not get in trouble in the great state of California I would.

No cats, dual electrics.. Haven't driven it on the street yet as it's 10 degrees here, but sounds like it will be loud as hell!!

Now that I established that I want them off. How do I go buy doing this. Can I do it myself or do I have to go to a shop? And how much would it cost?

first you gotta find a shop that would do it...some might not due to the reason that they are required...one way i heard is to trailer the car to the shop and tell them the car is only for racing off road...you could do it yourself if you know how to weld (pipe for the cat section)...another way is to buy headers and an off road y pipe and not have to worry about having to cut out the cats and put pipe in the place of it...it is going to need a tune right after unless you have no problem with the check engine code
