window help

Hey guys, I got one of those temporary liscense plates from the secretary of state and I put it on my back window. But when I took it off it left a sticky residue with paper stuck in it. So my question to you is what did you use to remove all that gunk without damaging the rear defrosters or the window?

and that wont mess with the window or anything?? ive never used that stuff b4 is it really that good?

vinegar and a soft dampened cloth. just keep dabing the vinegar on it and rub lightly came right off for me . and wiped it down w/ windex to kill the vinegar smell

The only thing you would **** it up with is if you used something retarded to wipe it off, like steel wool

Steel wool is fine for glass, just as long as it is "0000". Thats as fine as it gets. Of course, dont use it on tint. I detailed cars for 6 years and the stuff is great. If you are still leery, just try it in an inconspicuous spot. Good luck!!
