Question LS6 intake questions

I have a used LS6 intake I just bought and I was cleaning it in the kitchen sink and the clip for the MAP sensor broke off. But it came off so easily I am thinking it may have already been damaged. Anyway I was wanting to know if there is a good way to fix this or what people do when they have a fast intake cause they don't have a clip at all.

Another question, If I do decide to take this intake to the car wash and spray it out there how do I keep it from blowing away? lol

Thanks

This is just what I think but for one try to fix the clip with some JB weld.
And some power washers can have a high psi and that can damage the intake belive it or not.

Picture of the piece that broke? My LS6 intake came off a 02 SS and it had some sorta sensor on the right side of the intake that I did not need for my 1998 Formy install?!

Using the map sensor is a must. Use a blk adhesive type of silicone to affix it. Use a fair amount on the outside. I would even put a small amount on the rubber piece before inserting it, and then (dont touch it!!) for 24 hrs. This way you can remove it later easily. I would not give up too easy though, you might stare at it and try to fab up a real stay of some sort for it.
