Electrical(headlight,foglight) problem after wash!
Went through the automatic car wash the other day and now I have all kinds of electrical problems! First, ABS INOP light has come on. I've checked all fuses and they are good! Also driverside headlight and high beam are VERY DIM, bulbs are good. Drivers side, with high beam on regular lamp and high beam come on at same time where as passenger-side the regular beam shuts off and the high beam comes on(like its suppose to). Passenger side fog lamp shuts off intermitantly. On dash the left turn signal light is also dim(and always on) and when I goto turn itll flicker like normal but takes it about 5 seconds between flicking on and off. But left turn signal light on dash stays on but VERY dim.
I'm sure its all related but I cant figure this out! Sounds like a cluster fu(K yea well it is!
CLiff notes: Drivers-side lights are fubard! Headlights are dim, fog light works sometimes, turn signal works sometimes, ABS INOP light is on! FUSES ARE GOOD!
Any help or ideas would be appricated.
BTW its a 01 z28 stripper m6

Sounds like it could be your alternator. Might be in the need of a rebuild. Those symtoms you described sounds like alt to me.
I think being at the car wash and this happening could have been a cowinkydinky.
