Do all year ls1's have egr? I bought a 2001 ls1/6speed with 20k miles for $4000. I am getting motor trans engine harness, computer, console harness, fuel lines, tank, pump, radiator, pedals, hydralics, cradle, and steering rack.

He said it is a 2001 but i noticed the egr on it. I thought that was only on the 98's and 99's.
I hope i didnt get ripped off. I did research on the company. It is called all mustang performance, located in arizona. Everyone there is really friendly. Please tell me i havent bought an older motor. Thanks

If it has EGR on it, it's not a 2001 buddy.

'98-'00 had EGR. '01 & '02 came with the LS6 intake manifold w/o an EGR valve.

Good news. He said he has six of these and he uses the same pictures for all of them. I hate that feeling when you think you have just been ripped off. He insured me that it would be a 2001. Here is the vin# if any can run a carfax for me 2G2FV22G312113771
