Default Exhaust plate make a difference???

I have the borla catback, the plate that is in now has a hole in the middle maybe the size of a nickle... im heading to the track today and i was wondering if i should bother taking it out. I have had a couple people say that it is robbing me or horsepower.

what is your take on this?

I think you'll see a gain, but not much. I run the plate full open, which is similar to having a cutout so I will probably have more of a gain than you will with the smallest plate in. However, you will have more back pressure, which gives you more grunt down low in the rpm range. I mainly run it wide open for sound because I feel it is way too quiet closed up.
