Putting car back to stock well folks my buddy is considering buying a modded car, and to be honest he doesnt car about the mods. The car has headers, y pipe, full catback with a cutout, control arms, subframe connectors, etc. My question is, how hard would it be to remove all that stuff, and how much would you pay someone to do it? The idea is to remove all that and just put stock everything on to cover the cost of the car. Thoughts? thanks in advance! |
waste of money to remove that few of mods. with the cost of removal and misc stuff (gaskets), and the purchase of the stock parts. its just not worth it i don't think. suspension would be easy enough...could do it in your driveway really. the exhaust stuff can actually increase gas mileage if the car is tuned properly. |
Agreed. If you are wanting to sell the suspemsion stuff let me know cause my bro will use it |
When I sold my 93 T/A I thought about taking some of the mods off, but decided to sell it fully modded. You never get your money back when you mod or de-mod a car. |

IMO, the mods you listed will probably actually help the car/gas mileage. As stated, the headers are gonna be a pain. |
No they are not extra. They replaced lower quality stock parts |
If it's Gen4 bring it by my place, I'll SWAP the parts with my stock parts and exchange a little $$ at the same time! Anywhere near TN by chance??? Swat |
