Default rear end noise

hey guys im new here, just bought my 2000 ss 3 days ago, just been messing around in it learning some stuff.

it has 33k miles.

at launch when i give it full throttle from a stop or from a slow roll. i hear a loud clacking noise, now i know it has a weak rear end since its only a 7.5" 10 bolt.

im wondering if its going out, or if thats a normal thing, my dad mentioned that since its a limited slip posi, when on concrete its locking itself from spinning the tires, maybe has something to do with it. i dont know what the guy has done to the car other than welding in his own exhaust and there is some sort of breather.

other than that the car is immaculate, ill have to take some pictures, or it, including the breather to see if you guys maybe have an idea or what it is, im used to my other camaro a 69, definitely low tech compared to the newer ls1's

so im guessing its not a bad thing, when i went under the car it didnt look like the original rear end, really havent had time to look at it since i work all the time to get money to pay it off, but it had the number 307 written on it with yellow chalk, is that something from factory or is that aftermarket?

I don't know, just be careful these things break all the time even with stock horsepower.

yea thats what ive been reading. i just wish i could explain the noise it makes. i know it has to do with the posi kicking in, and its probably not a good noise. it only does it at a low speed. when im going 10 or more its fine.
