Default Throttle body install

I am currently waiting for a throttle body and was wondering whether or not it is hard to install by myself... Or should i just take it to a shop???

It will take you 15 min tops. Pull the air intake off and remove the cable and bolts and then reinstall the new one

unplug you electrical connections at your MAF, and your LID
remove your lid, maf, and bellows as one unit, so just undo the worm clamp there the bellows and th TB meet
remove the the two electrical connections at your TB
push back the TB cable cam (like your giving it gas) and remove the "now slacked" TB cable fro the cam
remove the 3 11mm bolts holding your TB to your intake,,i recommend remove the 2 bottom ones first, then remove the top one last so your TB dosnt drop
have a beer, your done.

My first mods were a stock ported throttle body and a lid. It was very easy to install and was the first work I had ever done on a vehicle besides oil and plugs.

It was very easy to do. Took maybe 5 minutes to get it off. The longest part was unhooking the throttle cable on my cruise control.

no doubt, you need to go to the place that told you that, walk up to that person, and chuck your 11mm socket and rachet at his/her head. Collect your socket, and leave.

This is true. Those clamps on the hoses were a bitch to get off. It will definately take you more than 5 min. but its an easy job.

You will feel more throttle response with the ported tb for sure.
