Default Throttle Body Question

Looking to buy a BBK 80mm TB off one of my buddies. Should this just bolt right up or is there more to it than that?

my .02. BBK sucks, I had one of the 80mm on my cammed SS and the drivability was awful. I put a stock ported unit back on and the difference was night and day. Bigger ain't always better. I just hate to see someone spend that kind of money for bad performance.

A ported stocker should be fine until you upgrade to a 92mm fast intake. At that point I would opt for a NW 90mm tb.

that is correct,,,your not gaining anything if you have to use a reducer...

PnP that stocker,,,there are folks running 900 hp cars on a stocker, they can be worked into much higher performance pieces than they are stock..
