Default Bigger MAF= better or worse gas mileage?

I've been reading a 92 MM MAF can add 20 whp. Does it decrease MPG? Also do you need a custom intake to fit around it? Thanks

I believe ive asked about these a while back also.. There not worth the price and they don't ad 20whp from what I hear. A friend who just bought one about 2months ago says he didn't notice any difference in power or gas mileage so idk.

Unless you're making insane power..leave the stock MAF.

I went with an 85mm MAF simply because they're more abundant, and cheaper (plus I have an HP Tuner to load up the correct parameters) no difference in MPG, might have picked up 1-2 horses based on nothing, though it does match my aftermarket lid better.

Ditto. It's grossly unnecessary.

So many people run 10's with the stock MAF...no need to ditch it unless you plan
on making some big power like the guys already said.
