2K to spend. Help me.
I already have....
SLP lid, Fast toys ram air, Smooth bellows, Magnaflow cat-back and a heatspeed TB spacer (it came with the car)
anyways, what else should I have done with the 2,000?
I was thinkn a Ported TB, but i cant find a Shaner one... anyways any suggestions are good.

What do you wanna do with your car. I would say longtube headers and an ory pipe to start. I don't know what year your car is, but an ls6 intake upgrade is one of the best bang for the buck mods. That would leave you with around 1500, if you already have an ls6 intake. You could go a lot of places from there, nice suspension set up. Cam/install/tune, might need some extra money in there. Need more info.

I wouldn't do the rear axle first. If you do break it a used one can be found at the junkyard for $150-300 usually. That would get you back on the road pretty easily. If anything set that aside for a rainy day and do some power mods with the rest like others are saying (exhaust, etc).

for 2200 hundred bucks i was able to buy everything in my sig minus the suspension stuff, but i installed everything myself, nothing is too hard to do and worth spending money for someone else to do.

don't listen to any of these newbs, except the koni guy...
the biggest mistake i made with my car was going power first...
...get some konis and suspension mods, and longtubes/ory, then you'll have a little left over and power/power to the ground which is more important
but for god's sake DONT DO A FREAKING CAM

Sam Strano can explain everything you need to know and then some, give him a call.
I also vote for Konis. Hands down the single best mod you can do to these cars.

I vote rearend. Seems to be the weakest link so thats where I would start. Breaking rearends sucks when your anywhere but in your driveway. The tow bill and finding a replacement and going through the crap of putting it in and then still having a stock one.. or just having a nice one that will never break. You can steepen up your gear ratio which will feel like a 100hp gain (depending on what you had). I went from 3:36 open to 4:10 posi and the difference is amazing. Better then most any bolt on mod I can think of for the price..
