Cam? Louder exhaust?

Cam? Louder exhaust? Im just wondering im gettin a cam in the next couple of weeks and i know that idle of the cam makes the exhaust louder but does it make the over all driving exhaust louder? Or just at idle?

yea man when i put my cam in my exhaust got quite a bit louder..it also made it more raspy, so thats something to consider if your exhaust is already raspy..but man it definately made it sound mean as hell

Well right now im running a dumped Y pipe with no muffler so im sure it'll loud and raspy as hell. Sadly i might have to put the muffler back on.

Yes it'll be louder while driving but without a doubt the largest change will be at idle.
I'll tell you right now, there is nothing like having a mean idle once you get that cam installed. I love it so much!
