Default clutch choice

I am building a little street rod that my wife will be driving........it will still have some pep(around 400-450hp) but nothing crazy. She hates a stiff clutch. What is a clutch option that will hold the hp but be quite easy on her leg???????? the ls7 clutch?

LS7 clutch I hear is pretty good. I might have to change to that. I have a spec 2 and its pretty good. Theres some chatter though and its firmer than the stock pedal. Id prolly go with the LS7 clutch if I were to do it again

yeah i installed my ls7 clutch a while back (and i'm at about 425rwhp). i'd have to say it's just about exactly what you're looking for in that power range while still leaving the clutch pedal very easy to depress. got mine back in the day from SDPC for just over $400 shipped; including the flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch. they also sell ARP bolts and a clutch pilot installation tool for a decent price too. also, if you haven't upgraded the clutch hydraulics, i'd get an adjustable master cylinder from RAM. it doesn't cost much more than stock, but it's great to be able to adjust the play. it's a great setup.

I have the LS7 and it works great.
That is with street tires on the street.
I have never tried it at the track on some sticky tires.
She will love it

I don't know what you're building as a street rod, but considering how light the average street rod is the LS7 clutch would hold that power indefinitely
