Default my new LS1 what hp should it make?

i just bought my new car(2001,LS1,M6) i currently own a LT1 camaro and now this is comming next week. I bought the car of a dealer and he said it has:

-ported heads with 3 angle valve job
-mild cam,roller lifters
-4.11 gear
-LT's,cat back exhaust

i can also see a lid in the pics, but when i asked him how he knew the car has a cam and ported heads since he bought it at auction he said he had a shop inspect it and they told him that it has the stuff and he swears by them.

i would have bought the car regardless with cam and heads or stock, is there any way to check this stuff out. I guess the gears i can check rpms in sixth gear i can see the exhaust but what about the cam and heads maybe dyno the car? or find the previous owner

Stock??? probably around 300-325, depending on what trans you have.

EDIT- just saw it has headers.... Probably closer to the 335-340 mark. tq should be at about 350-360.

nice looking trans am! but the question is does it feel like it has a H/C (does it put you back in the seat?) becuase the stock one not that much... It should be quite a performance difference from your camaro...

Does the car lope when at idle? Any mild cam should lope.

i don't think you can tell stuff like that its a new car to me so its not like picking it up from a mechanic that just put H/C on it, it will feel fast if it only had 4.11's

i understand, but if i drove a stock one i could compare my experiences but since i didn't what can i compare it too, i will dyno it to be sure so:

LT's+cat-back+lid= 300-340whp

LT's+cat-back+lid+cam+heads= 380-420whp
would that be an good rough estimate

heads are simple.. look at the casting numbers..
if its 241 thats a stock LS1 casting number, 243 is a LS6/LS2 casting number
do some research and look for dif casting numbers..
if its 853(i think) and 241 you have a stock head (most likely)
What year is it? 2001+?? then you have your LS6 intake

if you have tools, you can SIMPLY take off a valve cover to see if it has roller rockers as well

lol its no problem. yeah he could have had the stock head castings ported, for sure. BUT if it was a decent head/cam swap their would most likely be a ls6 casting, or a 5.3 L casting (cant remember casting #)
