Default True Duals????

I have a 2000 Z28 with a head and cam package......wanted to know if true duals would help me out any if i were to put them on. and also i have a set of MAC mufflers i wanna know if they'd be any good for my car.

i have pacesetter longtubes with a 3 inch texas speed x-pipe to sweet thunder dumps.

they sound amazing on my 98 trans am and also i picked up a good bit in performace.

and they are true duals

I've heard true duals. They sound fantastic. The easiest way to do them is to dump them before the rear axle. It is a PITA to run them out the back if you're going with 3", which I would guess is what you're considering. You also need to consider how much you drive the car and what you consider "streetable" Dumped duals will be loud inside the car, and you'll smell like exhaust all the time. Personally, neither of those bother me, but you need to think about what's right for you. Oh, and Camaros look great without exhaust tips, so you have that working for you.

true duals > *

with a stock internal motor, they dont really make a difference, maybe 5 hp, but with bigger cubes, or an aggresive h/c combo, i have seen gains up to 20 rwhp with a td setup over a good y-pipe setup

right now i have slp long tubes with the 3 inch slp y pipe with a slp loudmouth dumped with a cutout.

and also do any of you know if those mufflers are any good the MAC ones??????????

the Mustang guys seem to like MAC mufflers, but they are a full size muffler so you will have to do something like I did to get them installed without scraping everything.
