How much HP on Camaro SS?? Just wondering how much hp does a stock 99 camaro SS have? I am getting one on Friday and i was just wondering what i would be looking at....
it also has a whisper lid, and a borla catback and y-pipe.... what do you guys think....
but the car i am getting is an automatic, so what do you guys think i am looking at for stock....

Re: How much HP on Camaro SS?? Do a search you'll find lots to read about that. It varies slightly from 98/99/00 to 01/02. In general stock around 350 fwhp.

someone said that in '98 the SS had 320 stock hp, and in 2000 the SS had 325 hp....
so i was just checking on that...

Re: How much HP on Camaro SS?? Yeah you can look at 300 plus the mods another 20-25 so roughly about 325 with mods you listed.Congrats on the new toy-keep us posted on its running!!

If it is fwhp I disagree, my 01 DYNOED at 299.8rwhp stock. So with a 15% driveline loss that would put it at 345fwhp.

Hey guys i just bought a 1999 Z28 Ls-1 6 Speed Black T-Tops pw/ps GTP Stage II Ported and Polished Heads Thunder Racing Cam 224 561 Set at 112 Granetelli 80 mm Throttlebody, Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump, Hooker Super 17/8 Headers with Custom fitted exhaust, Spec Stage3 Clutch,Billet Steel Flywheel Pro5o Shifter,Moser Nine Inch 410's with Detroit Locker. UMI torque armsand added a 100 shot Zex nitrous kit any idea based on the info given does this car have and what quarter mile times could be also running Nitto Nto5 Drag Radials thanks for your help!
