shipping tires, need help!!

Default shipping tires, need help!!

well i didnt know where to put this, so i put it in this section, because im a newb when it comes to shipping things. i have 2 tires i sold to a guy and i am wanting to ship them to him, now what im wondering is what is the best way to package these?? could i just put them on top of eachother then tape them up, will that work?? Please help me, because i need to get these shipped out tomorrow thanks,john.

I bought some tires from a member and thats how they came. Maybe someone can chime in.

yup, just stack them and put a label on top then tape em together well, that's how they come from tirerack.com and such

yeah just wrap a crap load of clear duct tape around them, thats how my mickey thompson tires came.

First time I shipped a set I duct taped them together with trash bags as the packaging, they got to the destination unharmed. That was with UPS.

Then I shipped them seperate with a tracking number on each tire, they got lost. I packaged them together the same was as before and they got lost again. That was with FedEx.

thanks a lot for the help guy, i guess i will just stack and tape them together,i thought about shipping them individually, but with what i just heard i guess i wont..
