Steve: Ingenious ramp design

Chris: Actually, I've never even done a burnout in my car...kinda got that rear-end fear ever since I learned about the 10-bolt flaw. It doesn't make funny noises or anything, so I'll salvage it as long as it lets me!

^^^I guess I've been lucky with my 10bolt. I've beat the **** outta it and it's still going. It won't have to take the abuse much longer though, cause the 9 inch is on the way.

anyone know whats inside the stock muffler? I am betting its fiberglass and also betting that if water got in it it would be ruined? My stock muffler out back was exposed to the weather and not only that, the tips were pointing straight up. Looks like i will be buying another muffler now.

I've already come up with that solution. Chris buys the Hooker cat back, puts it on your car, pulls off the stock exhaust with the cutout from your car and puts it on his car. Everyone's happy. I'm a genius and deserve many many beers for that idea. Ya'll can even use my driveway to swap the parts around while I sit on the bench and make interesting commentary.

I think I'll be there this weekend, but don't know if I'll be running. Depends on if everything gets here soon enough.

Well guys, i went and picked up some pipe from marty with the artic white t/a that pops up on this thread every now and then. EXACTLY what i needed. All one piece, bolted right up to my y, has a flange for the cutout right before the 90* to go up and over the axle, has a flowmaster muffler on it, and the big oval tips. Sound really good to me after that god awful loudmouth. Had to drop the 9" to get it in, worth though cuz i didnt have to bother steve to come and weld for me lol. Now i just have to order the electric cut out, maybe this fri. And have to give props for marty's car, thats a bad s.o.b.!! Full all out race car. So if anyone is interested, i now have a lm1, the large diameter slp y pipe, and a set of gutted cats for sale. Good setup for someone starting out and wanting to just add a catback. Just too loud for a cam setup and street car. Oh, and hilton, i have the piece of pipe you gave me if you need it back.

I was wondering how things were going with it. Does it feel like it will hold up good?

I know when he brought it by my house it sounded like it was scary fast. The only way to find out exactly how fast is to take it to the track. Let us know when you go and you can meet all of us that are usually there. Later
