Here ya go. Once you get it sitting like this, you'll be in there. This is a video of one of the Souther F-body club members that runs the nmca circuit alot. Stock long block (yep that's stock heads and stock cam too)......running a 6 speed.

I am more talking about a lock up/soft loc, or however you would like to call them. But they start at a pretty hefty price. About the cheapest you can get into a new one is around 2700-3k

bought front runners yesterday. I swapped out my 2 17" 245/75 spares for 225/55's. should compliment well. Considering I decided to look up a couple things, I found that my old tires(Kumho ecsta 275/45/20) weigh 6lbs a piece less that the Sumitomo's I just got in march. 41lbs a tire + powder coated 20s = TONS of rolling stock haha. Come on 12s!

Something was a little strange with the deal because earlier this year they had canceled Top Sportsman and ran the other classes. I guess thats what "money" can do for you
I know it's not hooking like it should, but I definitely wasn't blowing the tires off. Went consistent 1.08 60fts in the blown dragster and 1.12s in my dragster. Both are hardtail dragsters.

Found out that my 20s w/ tires weigh 75lbs a piece. Front 17" steelies with 225/50s and the rear stock 17" TB wheels with MT 275/40s both weigh 52.5lbs a peice. Whew!!

In a way yes. I was there running QR and TD. I had NO problems what-so-ever running a 7.31 @ 186mph though. They said a bunch of the super stock guys we're having problems getting down the track and could not "legally" cancel one class and run the others.

Do you think they will get the problem solved or is IHRA going to drop the track all together? Its a huge deal to cancel a race....
