I can see it now......10/15 years from now.
Boy: Daddy, what the hell is an LSx?
Cody: Shut-up boy
Seriously, I got a generic one done years ago. Spark plug and a piston laying on top of each other. No women know what the hell they are.
I can see my grandson:
Grandson: Paw, what's that tattoo on your chest?
Me: Its a spark plug and a piston.
Grandson: What the hell are those?
Me: Shut up boy

I'll admit I've had several engine/car related ideas for a tat, but it's hard to decide when you know its gonna be there forever.
Who did the art work? I've been using Skull & Bones as of late. The chick did my last one and it turned out better than I had imagined in my head.
Its time for another one I think...........

Bet the guys with the LT1 tats are jealous!
I had a weird couple days. Yesterday I walked over to the Camaro to start up the dirty ***** after ~2 months of sitting there. Car wouldn't start. Turned over great, fuel pressure gauge showed good pressure, oil pressure built up while it was cranking, no security light. "WTF could this be?" I thought.
Hooked it up to the scanner and found a crankshaft position sensor code. My hypotheses was that the sensor was bad and that the injectors weren't being told to fire.
Today after church I pushed her ugly *** back to my driveway from my extended parking lot, jacked her up a little, and pulled the starter off. I unclipped the wire from the sensor and pulled the sensor out. Sensor looked great. I put in another sensor I had laying around and thought to follow the wire back up to see if it had gotten burnt. YEP! Melted to ****.
I cut out the burnt portion and repaired them with ghetto *** butt connectors. Put the starter back in; CRANKED RIGHT UP!
I love it when it's an easy and cheap fix!

That's the crazy thing. Mine has low oil pressure but in the 5+ years I have owned it, It's never run as smooth as it is right now. I tore into it just because I'm a OCD kind of guy.

Mine is low as well but still well within specs. I'm sure its due to a leaky rear cover though. I noticed the leak right about the same time I started noticing the pressure difference.
Gonna take care of all that when I put in a new clutch soon.

We've traced the ticking back to what probably is a badly bent pushrod, I have missed gears pretty badly before so I wouldnt be suprised if a lot more were bent. but this one is an audible tick. I prefer new pushrods, is that what you have Hilton? and right now I'm looking into something else aswell I just hope it works out.
