We will be at RRR friday to run our 3rd points race. What is nice about running our events on Test & Tune friday is that when you get eliminated (if you do), you can go to the test & tune lane and make all the passes you wish. Will be good to see ya again.

How many of the Shreveport/Bossier Hang Out would be interested in driving down to Thunder Racing on Saturday July 26th for their get together? (Food, Drink & Dyno Day) They need a number of how many are coming to make sure they have the food on hand.

No one's going to Thunder Racing?
BTW, got my intake on today. Didn't really get to get on it, but the throttle response feels alot better. Will know more July 26th when I go to the track. Anyone else plan on going on the 26th let me know. I plan on being there anyway, just want to know who I might can expect to show up.

it was alright I guess. ran a 12.3 but my 60' is still kinda crummy in my opinion(1.9)
also have some traction issues with the new motor making more power than before.I think Im gonna have to get some draglites and slicks to make the most of it all.
on the street it spins from a 50 roll when it kicks down so I gotta do something.

That was Dennis Ainsworth that kicked my *** in the final round. I cut a really bad light and he drove around me at the top end. The vert just never pulled in the final, ran my worst time of the night. Sure wish more of ya'll could make it to these events, RRR has been giving us a pay-out for 1st & 2nd place when we have a 10 car field. The car count was so low friday night that we did not have a pay-out. You can come race in these events for the $20 test & tune fee and win a little cash at the same time. We do it for fun and to get more cars out to RRR, plus you can get a little money back to put in your car. We need car count to keep this alive, come on out guys & gals. Our next points race is Sept 5th, but we can put together a race anytime on a test & tune night.

We did not start eliminations til 9:30 as we were giving everyone time to get there. That is the good part of running on a test & tune night. You can make all the passes you want before we start eliminations, plus after you lose you can go to the test & tune lane and make all the passes you wish.

Steve don't go to high on your shift points and your tranny should hold up. I think they are good to last if you don't go over 6200 rpm. I think I read one time that they are good to 6400 rpm. The reason I say don't go over 6200 rpm is to allow for + or - 200 on the factory tact.
