We are proud to announce that the .650" lift PRC spring kits are now available with lightweight, competition strength H13 tool steel retainers. The new PRC lightweight tool steel retainers rival the performance of the PRC titanium retainer and only weighs 4 grams more. The lightweight steel retainer will provide the best of all valve train benefits: lightweight, exceptional strength and wear characteristics. This gives us the opportunity to offer the best springs on the market at a slightly lower price point for customer who wants to save more money!

The PRC tool steel is not a 4140 alloy steel like some of our competitors use. The PRC lightweight H13 tool steel retainers were manufactured utilizing the latest CAD software to allow for optimized weight and strength. The PRC lightweight H13 tool steel retainers are manufactured on the latest CNC machines for consistent quality. The retainers are heat treated to a hardness of 52-54 Rc to improve life and prevent retainer wear.
