New XPEL DIY Self-Healing Paint Protection: Does Your Car Have A Clear Bra?

Not long ago, the process of protecting the paint on your car with clear urethane was reserved for the specialized shops that knew the dark art of installing a "clear bra." But time and technology marches on and XPEL, along with other companies now sell DIY kits to protect your prized muscle car.
The new stuff from XPEL caught our eye because it's touted as a completely clear, non-yellowing urethane that is said to protect against rock chips, scrapes, burnt rubber and is said to "heal," over time thanks to its fancy clear coat and special elastomeric polymers.
