The factory LS7 oil pumps have proven to work pretty good for most builds. However, on some of our high horsepower builds, we have cracked a few of the stock cast pump housings. When that happen, you lose all oil pressure. To combat this issue, we have designed a fully billet top housing for the LS7 oil pump. This is a direct bolt on solution with no modification required. We made it out of a solid chunk of 7075 aluminum here in house. The pump comes in a hard anodized black finish. It is designed to be used with the factory lower plate and internals of the oil pump. We have used this billet oil pump case on many builds making somewhere around 1500hp and have had no issues. Let me know if you guys have any questions.
