Announcing a new 92mm throttle body We are proud to announce the all new line of cable operated CNC Billet Aluminum 92mm Throttle Bodies from Jantzer Performance. Built with the same precision and attention to detail as Jantzer’s line of factory ported throttle bodies, these 6061-T6 aircraft grade billet throttle bodies promise to deliver unsurpassed features, performance, and value.
The throttle body starts life as an 11 lb. block of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. Machined on a state of the art HAAS CNC machining center, the raw material is transformed into a precisely cut throttle body housing that weighs a mere 1.5 lbs.
Considerable research and development went into each part, resulting in what we feel is the highest quality, most reliable 92mm throttle body currently available. Confident in our design and committed to customer service, each throttle body includes a LIFETIME limited warranty to the original purchaser!
After testing several aftermarket throttle bodies, we incorporated features and designs that we feel are significant upgrades to what is currently available. Not only overall appeal, but mechanical function as well. The radius on our throttle control arm is designed to offer better throttle control, especially for 98-99 F-bodies and earlier style GM trucks. The throttle control arm also is machined to minimize binding of the return spring (common with competing products), which effectively tries to pull the throttle shaft out of the housing, which can result in sticking throttle blades. After testing several return springs, we found one with just the “right” pedal feel (where-as many competing products have stiff, unforgiving springs). The throttle bodies are shipped with quality hardware, including stainless fasteners, a throttle body bypass kit, a brass PCV fitting and stainless plug for those who don't use the PCV port. Competing products include PLASTIC parts and leave you running around for parts that are necessary for install.
