nitro daves wet plate kit dyno numbers

150 shot with .38 fuel jett is the first graph. as you can see it went to 10.x's. a little rich so we put in the .35 fuel jet and it ended up at 11.2x's so we felt it was perfect right there. 110 leaded in the dedicated and 93 in the tank.
car made 440 on motor.
ported ls6 heads,england green whiplash cam,lts modded ti's,ported 78mm fast.

You should of picked up at least 150RWHP. Car should be making more power IMO...

dawiz 11-04-2008 10:33 AM

BUT IT SHOULD!!!!

If your not worried about it, then who cares.

I picked up 167 RWHP on the 150 pills. Same set-up as you. 110 in a dedicated and 93 in the tank. Thats with a A/F of 11.0 and 22* of timing......

dawiz 11-04-2008 11:05 AM

what size n2o jet?

Beer99C5 11-04-2008 11:12 AM

When I was stock here was mine gain
http://www.retrorelics.net/jim/Board...ngWET62x36.jpg

300 RWHP was baseline, this was a 62/36 jetting I found Stock the jetting was rich, and went 2 sizes smaller on the fuel.

Are you running the same cam, and transmission??? You do not always pick up what the nitrous company states; it's just an estimate of power.

LS1 SPEED 11-04-2008 12:00 PM

graph looks good

HP doesn't always come out the same, so I would not be concerned

another note is he may have not pulled it to the same RPM as he did on motor just a guess by only seeing 6400 rpm

dawiz 11-04-2008 05:15 PM

im trying to get the shop to send me a lay over of the motor vs. spray so we can see the under the curve power gain. its impressive!

I bet you have the 52 n20 jet in.. The 52/35 (100 shot) should be a tad rich. Still, Nice power.

I ran my 10.71 at 12.8-13.0 AF.... Was the last race of the year, I had TR7's and 100 octane, so I figured I would be fine for a run.

slow trap 11-05-2008 07:07 AM

what was the bottle pressure ? if it was 950 or so i would put the 38 back in and heat it up to 1050-1100. a/f should be somewhere in the mid 11x range and hp will pick up, that is if you are wanting more.i run mine at 24* on spray (dyno only so far) with i think 110 in the stand alone.
anyways your car will be strong on the jug so congrats.
