Default Limit to how big a shot you can run off the fuel rail?

How big of a wet shot can you run pulling fuel from the fuel rail before it has an effect on the injectors? I would think opening too big of a shot at once could cause the pressure in the rail to drop a bit, no?

This will depend in part to the size of the pump/lines feeding the rails.

that fuel system should be capable of feeding somewhere in the 600HP range....what size shot are you looking to run, and what power do you make off nitrous.

I don't know if you have a stock bottom end, but if you do and you value it, I wouldn't spray more than 150-200 on a spot on tune. I also wouldn't risk spraying with just 600psi of bottle pressure either. Just my $0.02, good luck to you sir.

I'd like to run around a 200 shot. The car makes about 330 to the tire on the motor. Eventually I'd like to do a cam and run the 200 shot. I imagine I'll be making the most out of my fuel system at that point.

Right now my biggest concern is with getting the shot to run right. I'm going to buy matching jets for my two nozzles as I'm currently running a split shot between the two.

at that shot size you should be OK...it would be best to verify fuel pressure is staying fairly constant.

yea i'm running the stock bottom end. i value it, but i'm not too worried about blowing it. I feel safe with a 150 shot, maybe pushing it a little with the 200 shot, but it seems history has shown that they will handle it for a while.

lol yea as for spraying with 600psi, that was kind of on accident, I noticed when I get to the other end of the track that the gauge was reading 600psi. bummer!

ya, the next chance I get i'm gonna get it on the dyno and install a mechanical gauge and have someone keep an eye on it during the pulls. definitely a good point though
