Just got a dyno tune dry kit for my 2004 Z06, what should I run?
I just got a dry kit and it is mostly installed.
I have three shots available for my use... A 50, 75, and 100. Which one should I use on a bone stock 2004 Corvette Z06 with 28.8 pound injectors, and stock fuel pump on the LS6?
I have stock ECM tune, and want to know what I can run to not hurt my motor.
I have a WOT switch
Rpm window switch and installed the NGK TR6 plugs.
I cannot get a tune right now because its 600 dollars approx, so what other route could I go here without cauzing my engine to go kabooM!!!?

HSW Interface.
It is what I used for my dry kit after the MAF. I've never had my car tuned and it runs fine with the Interface.
It is ~$189 right now and can also pull timing.
DynoTune's rating are BHP...their 100 shot is more like an 85rwhp, I think.

I pulled no timing on a 100 rwhp shot.

Make sure you also have a good window switch.

Please do not take this the wrong way but I am going to spit it out. If you can not afford to tune the motor and do this properly surely you can not afford to replace the motor when you blow it up from taking short cuts and the cheapest route. Nitrous is not forgiving like other bolt on mods. I suggest waiting it out and saving your money until you can check the airfuel making sure evrything is ok.
Now to answer your questions you should be able to safely spray about 75 hp with out having to check the duty cycle on the injectors. Since your car does not have custom tuning you should not need to remove timming but cvarifying airfuel is very important.

i ran 125 shot in my vett for a while with no issues. i have an 03 with stock tune, cold air intake and a few other bolt ons. i didnt tune it yet, but i did log some runs. with the 125 shot my injectors are 100% maxed out. with the 100 shot im still in the 92% its close.
i usually mix some octain booster with my car, i do it to add octain and clean injectors etc. not sure it does anything, but i feel better about it.
my stock clutch on the 125 shot didnt last long. the car had 23,000 miles on it when i put the spray on and i might have put 3 bottles threw it befor when it got hot it would stick, then another bottle or 2 it would do it even cool if i did a few back to back hard runs. so i put the 75 shot in it, it still runs strong i have **** tires and the clutch holds it.
if you have no money for a tune, that means no money for a clutch. id put 75 in it till you can go threw it the right way, and always run good fuel and injector cleaner.
also, be sure the nozzle is right. ive seen them to close on the vet and ice over the maf screen. so watch that

No maf screen, GM stopped puttin them in later cars I believe. This one didnt even come with one.
I am going to test everything with a 50, and then at most do the 75. I dont like living on the edge, and 75 is enough for me the way this is.

So I ran the 50 shot tonight as a tester, and it ran well! I have a FPSS, TR6 plugs, RPM window switch, WOT switch, and bottle warmer, and also monitored my bottle pressure, and my fuel pressure.
I did not feel it so much on the streets... Very minimally. On the interstate I felt it a bit more, and it was fun. You can smell it a little bit too, I do not know if the smell is burnt nitrous or just the extra heat it adds, but I checked and no leaks, and no codes, and everything was fine.
Before I bump to 75 or 100, I am going to look into which of those two my clutch will accept and the HSW interface

Ferrari, as stated in another thread, Dynotune includes jets in their kit rated as base HP. So that 50 shot might have only been 35-40 to the rearwheels. Which is why you probably didn't feel much of it.
If you want a rear wheel 100 shot, you will need a 0.052 sized jet.
