MS4 and nitrous fuel question
Hey i just installed an ms4 and some ported 241 heads, and i also just ordered a wet nitrous kit and am planning on running at least a 150 shot. Am i going to for sure need to get a new fuel pump or fuel injectors or both. Should i just go to the tuner first and tune and spray it there to find out or will it be dangerous to run the nitrous shot if it wont be getting enough fuel?

uggggg... same situation here. I have the racetronix 255 fuel pump (what a pain in the azz to install). I also have the hot wire kit. I haven't touched my injectors but I am running an LT1. My Cold Fusion kit supports up to 200hp, but not sure how much I will be going with.. My engine was built for spray but this is my first venture into N20. So it's a learning experience for me.

well i think im going to get a walbro for sure but not the harness kit just the pump. Im going to maybe run a 200 shot but 150 for sure. I might wait on the injectors but if i do get injectors should i get 42s or go bigger? also wat is the ls1 fuel pressure

it wont. a wet hit has no bearing on your injectors. being a 2000 model tho you have the smaller 26.4 lb injectors. dependant on your heads how much power you make, might max them out. if you had the 28.8's i wouldnt worry about it at this point. basically if it maxes them on motor dont spray it. if you get away with the small injectors on motor you will be good to spray also. just need the pump.....

If im not mistaken arent the injectors close to being maxed out with just the cam and bolt ons with the ms4? I spoke with john at texas speed and he said I wouldnt need the hardwire kit for 150 shot, but if I went any bigger he recommended i upgrade the harness. I just got the 255 kit and, awhile ago I got a set of 42lb svos for $200 shipped. You could probably do the same thing and maybe even get some injectors cheaper.

I believe dyno dan (assuming thats whos tuning your car) will use a wideband so you can monitor this while your on the dyno to check everything while on the spray. Im sure you will have a lean spike on the initial shot but it should only be that instant. You can go get the tune w/o the injectors and if they are getting to maxed out on the spray you can lower the shot or reschedule a tune and Dan will do you right on the price if you have to reschedule.
