Filling our Bottle Are you getting what you paid for??? I got my bottle filled yesterday, 10 lb bottle with Super Hi Flo NOS Valve
empty the bottle weighs 16lbs with NOS Valve.
The place I go to freezes the bottles and fills them by gravity?
I waited till the bottle defrosted on my scale it weighed only 23 and change??? WTF?? anyone else have this issue???
I got robbed huh?

you should be bringing a hand held scale (a luggage scale works good) to the place you get your bottle filled.
show them what the bottle weighs empty and insist you only pay for the amount of n2o they put into your bottle.
if they wont do that, find somewhere else to get it filled.

Usually around 24-26 pounds depending on the bottle.
I fill bottles in my garage and I use the freeze method for the first 5-8 pounds but have to use the pump after that. If I have a fresh supply bottle then I can almost fill up two bottles without the pump, but after that I have to use it.
Don't feel too bad, I get jipped by the supply company from time to time. Supposed to have 65lbs of nitrous in a bottle when once I only got 49!

I hardly ever have problems getting bottles full on the first shot using the freeze method.On the rare occasion it won't fill, I throw it back in the freezer and it fills perfect. Key is to get the bottle good and cold.
Also, have them throw it on the scale for you before you pay. This covers everyone's ***.

I called him up and told him i thought it was light or I had a leak?
New bottle and New NOS Super Hi Flo Valve???
My bottle weighs 16lbs empty 26 full. The kid that filled it went by the guage
not the weight Squared away now.
Seriously considering my own nitrous fill station for me and my boys!
