Nitrous Guru's help!

I'm thinking about adding a dry kit and have some questions. Is there any way to keep the car running hard n/a and run spray? Timing currently is set at 26 degrees. I was wondering if I could keep the air fuel at 13.0 and buy a timing tuner. Is that still safe or too lean? How do you guys run these kits to where you can run hard on motor and spray? Any help is appreciated!

26* is good for smaller (150 and less) shots of nitrous. All depending on your exact combo and tuning thuogh, I ran 34* NA and sprayed on it a few times..not that I recommend that. I would say for smaller shots the afr is good, and the timing is good, use a colder plug though, like NGK TR6. With your cam the nitrous should really wake it up, it likes the heavy exhaust.

good-luck

Run the timing tuner, or get LS1 Edit and have a file for N/A and a file for nitrous. After you atleast ATAP the car, or have it dyno tuned.

I'm running max NA tune, then using a timing tuner for nitrous. Dry kits are realitively safe if kept to 125hp or less, and you are using the stock MAF, with TR6 plugs, and have a well maintained fuel system. You really should get ATAP to keep on eye on your KR, and Ltrims though. Better safe, then buying pistons or head gaskets.

I would run no more than 22 degrees on a 150 shot. Your air fuel should be 12.0-11.7 on the 150 shot if you want it to last. Run a minimum of a TR6 and premium gas. With a dry kit you don't need 2 programs, if you know what your doing you can have it pull timing when the nitrous is activated through LS1 Edit.

I would leave timing and a/f. When your going to run the bottle, make sure you run good gas!!!!! Fuel is the key. You can get away with alot with good fuel. Good luck. Also a scanmaster is a great tool. You can pick up KR as you drive.

Would it be better to do a wet instead of a dry that way I can add fuel?
