Nitrous Control Systems (What's out there)
 

Interested in what are available options for nitrous control systems?
Looking for something that can:
-arm
-control heater
-purge
-tune in lock-outs, ramp in progressive
-show bottle pressure status
-other nice features, but basically control the system

And finally, by chance would anything of this nature be compatable to hook up to a Pioneer touch screen head unit to display it on? Maybe I am dreaming but I think this would be pretty sweet to be able to control all of this and monitor through a screen in the dash!

That would be sweet to have all that in one. Most guys have separate components with switches that work most of the stuff you asked about like arm, heater, and purge. Then they just use a bottle pressure gauge, and something like a HSW interface to kill some timing. And the most popular progressive as far as race guys go seems to be the edlebrock unit.

NLR the guys that make the AMS 1000 boost controller are coming out with a nitrous control thats probably going to be cutting edge but nothing like what you are looking for.

Hmmm, I really don't see something like that as being practical. I can see some of it, but honestly on a few of those you're going to want full manual control over such as purge and arm. Have you checked out the MicroEDGE + controller we sell? It won't do some of the items you have listed but how important are those to you? Maybe put together a list of importance and select a controller that fits as close to your needs as possible.

Not a controller but you ay want to look into our NANO system. It offers quite a few benifits that may fit your needs.

For something like that, you would need to combine some specility guys...

For a custom C-5 Console modified see C-5 Bears Fan from the corvetteforum (I think who make em), he takes your factory console and relocates the Radio/HVAC and can add Gauges...Top notch stuff search the forum for custom consoles.

Combine that with a custom panel, may be what your looking for.

A really nice tidy package in a gauge is the Trick Performance Black Series gauges...One is progressive on is not...Lots of cool features.

Probably the easiest would be a V or P Trick Performance gauge combined in a control panel in the ashtray area of the C-5.

Hands down a fast system can do all of that. they maye there own touch screen dash I doubt it would work with the pioneer unit though.

fAST IS A COMPLETE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM. It replaces the factory computer. www.fast.com probably. its owned by comp cams.

If Im not mistaken, Tim McAmis Race Cars was making one of these but I think they scrapped the idea. If I find anything on it Ill post back in here.
